Nikon's Small World

Nikon organized a competition about the best photomicrographies of year 2005. That is called Nikon's Small World Photomicrography Competition.

The following photos have been the winners of Photomicrography Competition:

2.Quantum dot fluorescence image of mouse kidney section (Thomas J. Deerinck) - Fluorescence (2-photon)


3.Crystallized vitamin A (Stefan Eberhard) - Polarized light


4-Crystallized succinic acid and urea (Edy Kieser) - Polarized light


5.Bacteria growth in petri dish (Neil J. Egan) - Stereomicroscopy
