Through his desire to find technologies that enable us to solve the burning issues for human kind, Luca has identified the missing element in the mindset that guides investing in the modern world. In this talk, he proposes refocusing from building technologies that help us hail taxis faster, to investing in those that will solve problems critical to the long term sustainability of life – or, what he calls, Transcendental Technologies.

Luca Venza is a Founding Partner of Lotus Partners, Business Advisor at Impacteo, and Director for Technology Innovation, Transfer, and Acceleration and founder of the Barcelona Technology Transfer Group at IESE Business School. Prior to this spent four years mentoring MBA students actively engaged or interested in entrepreneurship as part of the Career Services department of IESE.
