¿Hay algo intrínsecamente distinto en una mente curiosa? Y si lo hay, ¿es entrenable? ¿Podemos nutrir nuestra habilidad para ser curiosos? Esta es una pregunta hoy fundamental, porque, como hemos visto en otros videos, en un mundo futuro en el que habrá más y más máquinas “inteligentes”, la oportunidad de los humanos emergerá de sus capacidades diferenciales, y destacada entre ellas, la curiosidad de la mente humana.

Tradicionalmente, nos hemos interesado por la gente muy creativa, o por los genios, individuos que combinan su perspicacia con su persistencia para ver dónde los demás no ven, para derivar de ello algo nuevo, como un descubrimiento, una idea, una aplicación, o una solución a algún problema, más o menos relevante. De hecho, una forma de medir el grado de creatividad de un individuo consiste en contar el número de usos diferentes que su mente propone cuando se le presenta un objeto, por ejemplo, una cuchara

Hoy os muestro el Magic Quadrant for Security Service Edge 2022 (by Gartner) publicado en Febrero de 2022 por los analistas de Gartner John Watts y Craig Lawson.

En concreto el SSE engloba a las soluciones que protegen el acceso a la web, los servicios en la nube y las aplicaciones privadas. Las capacidades incluyen control de acceso, protección contra amenazas, seguridad de datos, monitoreo de seguridad y control de uso aceptable impuesto por integración basada en red y basada en API. SSE se entrega principalmente como un servicio basado en la nube y puede incluir componentes locales o basados en agentes.

Precisamente esta es la definición que realiza Gartner del Security service edge (SSE) secures access to the web, cloud services and private applications. Capabilities include access control, threat protection, data security, security monitoring, and acceptable-use control enforced by network-based and API-based integration. SSE is primarily delivered as a cloud-based service, and may include on-premises or agent-based components.
