TED: Mapping Barcelona with big data from Twitter (by Dave Troy)

Para el TED de este sábado, os recomiendo el visionado de este TED celebrado en Barcelona en 2015 titulado Mapping Barcelona with big data from Twitter de un tal Dave Troy

Mapping Barcelona with big data from Twitter | Dave Troy | TEDxBarcelonaSalon (by TEDx Talks)

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Dave Troy analized millions of Twitter feeds of Twitter users based in Barcelona and categorized them according to their interests and opinions. Furthermore, he shows us in his talk how these different groups are connected and how much they interact with each other.

Dave is a serial entrepreneur with over 25 years experience in technology and design based in Baltimore, Maryland. He is founder of his own software company as well as a TEDx organizer. He loves to analyze data and to visualize it in an easy to understandable way.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
